Matthew Murray (All Nights)
Matthew Murray is a stand-up comedian who has been entertaining audiences across Canada for over 25 years. Born and raised in Calgary, Matthew now calls Saskatoon home. Matthew’s first album was picked up by iTunes and received worldwide distribution thanks to a chance encounter with Dane Cook. He’s appeared in New York, Las Vegas and everywhere in between. When he’s not on stage, he’s writing bios like this one and parenting his 10 year old daughter who doesn’t think he’s funny. Audiences find Matthew Murray to be punctual, mildly attractive, and admire his impeccable table manners.
Dueling Pianos (Friday November 28 & Saturday November 29)
Stand up. Sing Loud. Stay Late. TCU Place brings the world-famous Aussie Rules Piano Bar back to Saskatoon for two nights filled with dinner, drinks and dancing! If you’ve ever been to Calgary and not checked out Aussie Rules Piano Bar, you are definitely missing out. Aussie Rules has changed the perception of ‘piano bars’ forever by combining comedic schtick with great party songs that everyone knows and loves. You’ll hear songs you remember from the 60’s to the present, from country to rock and even some of today’s hip hop and R&B hits. Request the songs you love and let the players give you the complete piano bar experience.
Gong Show Band (Friday, December 5)
Gong Show is a Saskatoon-based classic rock and classic country cover band. They play the songs you love with a few of the popular top 40 hits of today. Known as “Saskatoon’s best party band”, Gong Show has been making parties fun since 2004, and they’re still going strong. Be warned - they’ve got an accordion and they’re not afraid to use it!
