Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang as they produce their own Christmas play and ultimately learn the true meaning of the season. When Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees during the Christmas season, Lucy suggests that he  become director of the school Christmas pageant.  Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating endeavor. He attempts to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas fir tree, but he needs Linus's help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is.

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS LIVE ON STAGE, created by  ERIC SCHAEFFER , is a stage adaptation of A Charlie Brown Christmas, the television special by B ILL MELENDEZ and  LEE MENDELSON based on the Peanuts comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz. A Charlie Brown Christmas was first shown as an animated television special in 1965 and has been part of the holiday tradition ever since. A CHARLIE BROWN  CHRISTMAS  LIVE ON STAGE includes the memorable music written by VINCE GUARALDI for the television special.
